You don’t have to be flexible to join the Yoga For Runners yoga classes at Runners’ Edge!
Keeping runners healthy and able to do what they love to do is the goal of the “Yoga for Runners” yoga classes held at Runners Edge. Yoga is the perfect complement to running as it helps to restore balance and symmetry to the body. Classes will focus on areas of the body most often impacted by the motions of running and include: hips, hamstrings, hip flexors, core, upper and lower body.
A wide range of poses will be explored to build flexibility and strength to keep the joints healthy. Your range of motion will improve and your body will move with greater ease and fluidity. Increase your flexibility, gain strength and….add power to your running stride!
Prior yoga experience is not necessary!
Yoga for Runners classes are offered at Runners’ Edge on Sunday mornings, 9:00 am – 10:15 am. Classes are on a drop-in basis but we recommend you email Cindy to notify her of your attendance. Please arrive a few minutes in advance.
