Edgers know the advantages of training with weekly coached interval training to develop strength, stamina, and speed, in a supportive and social environment. All you need is the desire to train and improve your running!
This Thursday morning, led by coaches, Edgers will keep you company and help keep you motivated while doing the interval training.
A typical workout includes a warm-up, cool-down, coaching tips on technique and the workout, finishing by 7:00 am.
This week’s hill workout will be decided based on weather conditions and footing:
Possible workouts 100’s / 200’s /300’s / 400’s . Every Edger benefits from this workout for any event!
Note: We decide the length and or location of the workout due to road and weather conditions.
ALL Edgers…… interval distance and number of, will be decided on the day for your safety.
What is an interval? a prescribed distance at a very hard pace, recovery will range from 1 minute to 3 minutes.
Very HARD pace? Push the pace for you. If you have a race goal the goal times will be based on the race goal.
Recovery? Walk recovery for a set amount of time based on the intensity or distance of the intervals.
We also offer a run this morning for the Edgers between events or just out for a run and keeping it fun.
The Edge team will be supporting runs ranging from 3 km to 10 km and 20 minutes to 60 minutes.
